Installation of Main Components of Automatic Fire Alarm System I. Installation Requirements of Controller Equipment 1) Layout requirements of controller equipment in fire control room: The operating distance in front of the facing plate of the equipment should not be less than 1.5 m in single row arrangement and less than 2 m in double row arrangement. (2) On the side of the regular work of the duty personnel, the distance from the facing plate of the equipment to the wall should not be less than 3m. (3) Maintenance distance after facing plate should not be less than 1 m. (4) When the arrangement length of the facing disks is longer than 4m, the channels with width of not less than 1m should be set at both ends of the facing disks. 2) The height of the main display screen should be 1.5-1.8m when the wall-mounted control equipment is installed; the side distance near the door shaft should not be less than 0.5m from the wall and the front operating distance should not be less than 1.2m; and the bottom edge should be 0.1- 0.2m higher than the floor when installed on the ground. 3) When the controller is installed on the light wall, reinforcement measures should be taken. 4) Installation requirements for cables or wires that introduce controllers: Each terminal of the terminal board shall have no more than 2 connections. Cable cores and wires shall have a margin of not less than 200 mm and shall be tied into bundles. The main power supply of the controller should be directly connected with the fire fighting power supply, and the use of power plugs is strictly prohibited.The controller should be directly connected with its external standby power supply. 5) The fire alarm controller should send out the fault signal within 100 seconds, the fire detector receives the alarm signal, and the alarm signal is fed back to the control center within 10 seconds. II. Installation Requirements of Fire Detectors 1Point-type smoke and temperature- sensitive fire detectors The installation spacing of point-type temperature-sensitive fire detectors should not exceed 10 m, and the installation spacing of point-type smoke-sensitive fire detectors should not exceed 15 m. The distance from the detector to the end wall should not be greater than half of the installation distance. Detectors should be installed horizontally. When inclined installation is necessary, the inclination angle should not be greater than 45. 2Distributed Linear Optical Fiber Thermosensitive Fire Detector It is strictly forbidden to knot the temperature-sensitive optical fibers. The bending radius of the optical fibers should be greater than 50mm when they bend. When the distributed temperature-sensitive optical fibers pass through the adjacent alarm area, they should set up the residual section of the optical fibers, which should be no less than 8m on both sides of the partition. The residual section of the optical fibers at the beginning and end of each optical channel should be no less than 8m. 3. Installation Requirements of Manual Fire Alarm Button 1) Manual fire alarm button, when installed on the wall, its bottom margin should be 1.3-1.5m from the ground (floor) height. 2) The connecting wire of the manual fire alarm button shall have a margin of not less than 150 mm, and shall be marked clearly at its end. IV. Installation Requirements of Electrical Control Devices for Fire Fighting 1) Fire electrical control devices should be functional checked before installation. 2) The height of the main display screen should be 1.5-1.8m when the fire control electrical control device is installed on the wall of the fire control room; the side distance near the door axle should not be less than 0.5m from the wall and the front operating distance should not be less than 1.2m; and the bottom side should be 0.1- 0.2m higher than the floor when it is installed on the ground. Fifth, Installation Requirements of Modules 1) The connecting wires of the module shall have a margin of less than 150 mm, and the end of the module shall be marked clearly. 2) Light alarm and fire emergency evacuation indicator should not be installed on the same wall. When installed on the same wall, the distance should be greater than 1 m.
