This saw the establishment of a Health Emergency Coordination Centre (HECC) - A COVID-19 Response Team has been created to deliver the public health response over a longer term. The Directorate is looking for a highly efficient and dedicated staff member to join the COVID-19 response team as an Exemptions Officer. The occupant of this exciting role will be responsible for managing exemption applications made under the Public Health Emergency Directions. These will predominantly relate to events in the ACT but could relate to exemptions for international travel, domestic travel when restrictions are in place, or in relation to business exemptions. We are seeking individuals with good organisational skills and demonstrated ability to be proactive, flexible and manage competing priorities while working under pressure and within tight timeframes.
