Start dates will be determined by the end-date of a prior leveled course, or when there are 6 or more students admitted and who achieved placement test scores at the same level. When enrollment for a course does not meet this minimum, cancellations may occur. Alternatively, IEC may assign the student to the available level most closely corresponding to the student’s assessed level of proficiency as determined by the score on the placement test. * In response to the significant public health concerns as well as IL Board of Higher Education guidelines International Educational Center will temporarily be switching to alternative methods of instruction that will include online webinar meetings as of 03/23/2020. IEC students are authorized to join classroom instruction from their homes for a limited time period until further notice (not to exceed 05/31/2021 per IBHE's requirement).
