QUALIFICATIONS (200 words limit) Relevant educational qualifications or equivalent professional experience in the field of human rights; good communication skills (i.e. orally and in writing) in one of the six official languages of the United Nations (i.e. Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish.) I am a human rights lawyer with over fifteen years’ experience focusing on international human rights and international criminal law. My experience includes matters in Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and Africa. I have an extensive knowledge of the WGAD, its procedures and case law. I have litigated several cases as an advisor and counsel before the WGAD, working with partner organisations and drafting and filing submissions. I also have experience conducting human rights related fact-finding missions, trial observation and report writing for a variety of audiences in relation to various states.
