Junior Warrior – Bramham Park, Leeds Thursday 23rd / Friday 24th June 2022 OFFICIAL BOOKING FORM Dear School, Well, this is turning into one hell of an event! We sold out 2019 and 2021, and I reckon we can top 6000 kids on the Junior Warrior course at Total Warrior 2022. Once again, schoolchildren are being invited to take over the Junior Warrior obstacle course on both Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th June! Young people aged between 6 and 15 years old can take on the 3KM route, with 12 obstacles (tailor built for the age range), tackling walls, pipes, nets, loads of mud and an awesome water slide! Our build team have some ideas for the kids in 2022, so I’m excited to see what they come up with. I have included the 2021 Junior Warrior map at the end of this letter by way of an example. Expect this and more in June! To offer some background, Total Warrior is a professional events delivery company, putting on obstacle course races (OCRs) across the country since 2011. They are returning to Leeds for the 8h year and expect over 15,000 entrants to take part at Bramham Park over the weekend of 24th – 26th June 2022. In an effort to maintain Total Warrior’s reputation as an epic adventure for all the family, the team don’t want young people stuck on the sidelines; they want to build on the success of Junior Warrior over the past couple of years, and encourage them to get stuck in. Event Information: Schools will be issued with wave times between 9.30am and 2.45pm upon receipt of this entry form. Each school will be given an arrival time 45 minutes before their wave start time, and it will take the children approximately 45 minutes to complete the course, including a start line briefing. Upon finishing, each child will receive a medal. Once your school has completed the course you will be free to return to school, although there is space for your school to eat a picnic and watch other waves go across the course should you wish. There are toilets onsite, along with a marquee with split boys and girls changing. I suggest the children change at school and come in the clothes they intend to take part in, with a spare change of clothes, an old towel and a bag to put messy clothes and shoes in for afterwards. There are not showers onsite. Please note the course involves mud and water. The children will need to bring clothes and shoes that are okay to be returned home muddy. We often retrieve old shoes which young Warriors loose on the course; it’s essential that kids come with shoes that they don’t mind getting very muddy, and ensure they are tied as tightly as possible. Places are limited and will be issued on a first come first served basis. Cost per person: £15.00 Or Cost per wave: £650 for 50 entrants, equating to £13pp This option reserves the wave for your school, meaning there will only be your schoolchildren on the course at this time. You may book more than 50 places, and numbers above the 50 already paid for will be charged at £13pp. Day (Thursday or Friday): School Name: Contact Name: Email address: Number of children: Year Group(s): Payment Reference*: *In order to secure your booking, please arrange payment, ensuring you include a payment reference to enable us to identify any payments through the local authority: BACS details: Sort Code: 09-01-28 Acc No: 40 10 93 40 If paying by cheque please make payable to ‘Warrior Events Ltd’, and send to: Total Warrior – Schools Day Unit 2, 9 The Green, Dalston Carlisle Cumbria CA5 7QB All necessary documentation – including the Risk Assessment – will be available to download from Evolve from April 2022.
