Wood that could be whittled or splintered Note: Any item may be considered to be contraband if the clinical or security staff considers the item to pose a threat to the preservation of the milieu or the safety of patients or staff. Some items listed as contraband may be allowed under certain conditions decided by the Treatment Team and described in the Medical Record. Examples include those items that can be used under direct supervision of a member of the treatment team such as personal care items or those controlled items that could be checked out by a patient and returned per limits established by the Treatment Team, such as personal music players.
