SUNDAY SERVICES AND COVID - During a recent PCC meeting we reviewed our practice. The following has been agreed subject to further review in May. 1. Please continue to bring face coverings/masks to church. 2. We would like you to wear your face covering/mask when you come to receive communion. You are not obliged to wear them at other times, either when you enter or leave church, or when you take part in all the other parts of the service. However, those who wish to wear face coverings/masks at other times must be encouraged and allowed to do so by all of us church. 3. At the altar, the priest and assistant will continue to wear face coverings/masks at key points of the preparation and administration of communion. They will use hand sanitiser as has been the practice since the beginning of the pandemic. Wafers and wine (that which will be offered to communicants) will still be kept covered for most of the time, including when the Eucharistic Prayer is said by the priest. 4. Please do not come to church if you do not feel well, or if you are testing positive for COVID. These things are no longer bound by law, they are simply a strong request. 5.
